Know Any Non-cliche Praise Songs?

I'm a screamo kid, but I love softer music as well. And as Christian screamo lyrics are so moving, in-depth, and inspiring, Praise songs' lyrics suck. I'm sorry, they do. I'm sort of already privy to the fact that Jesus loves me, and that He died for me. I don't need four thousand songs telling me that, in the same key in the same tune. I just want some songs that break the norm. Artists who aren't afraid to give insightful information, move people in practical ways rather than just providing a reasonable tune for Sunday service. I want lyrical revival! Anybody got anything?
