Is my bf a hypocrit or am I overreacting?

My bf and I are 24. Been together 8 years and he's the only guy I've been with. So the past months his band is preparing to tour and he is doing all the work out of 6 bandmates. So it has been pissing him off to the point he was going to fight one yesterday yet today he has a show which is currently going on n he texts me he doesn't want me to go when I asked what time there playing because he says he just wants to drink n chill with his band, yet his band is never there for him, he talks bad abut them n hates them yet his gf who has been there for him for yrs n all this time helping him prepare for the tour because his band is lazy n this is how he acts? Should I not be upset?
