Nvidia Graphics Card Comparison?

After a lot of pondering about what cars to get i have settled on a Geforce 9800gt 1gb however i have a limited knowledge of the latest tech and was wondering if the newer nvidia cards are better so is there any better card i could get for the same price as a 9800gt?
