Physician Assistant help!?

I'm in my senior year of high school and I have a 94% avg... all my marks throughout high school have been in the 90s except for one mark (I got an 87% in grade 10 french). I'm considering becoming a physician assistant and I was wondering if I work hard in university is this a realistic goal? I live in Canada and I know that physician assistants were recently introduced so their aren't very many programs, so would I be better off applying for the program in the USA after getting a bachelors degree? And can anyone with experience recommend a bachelors degree that would best prepare me for the program? Thanks! :)
