Windows 7 Reinstallataion fix on dell laptop?

I am using Dell Inspiron with win7 proffesional 64-bit (64bit ultimate earlier), recently i have just suffered a blue screen of death, i had no idea what to do about it so i just send it to manufacturers for replacement. All i want to know, if i re-install windows while i suffer from this problem due to which i am unable to operate windows, would this help me out without preparing for any hardware stuff. In easy words, i meana if i install windows 7 64bit again on the laptop suffering from blue screen, would it solve my problem or would i keep recieving those screen errors.?
