I really don't understand this girl.?

She likes you as a friend but nothing more. She is afraid that if she showed interests in the things that you like, you might be looking forward to a relationship. She cares about you and respects you as a friend, however, she may want it to stay that way. Sometimes it takes a while for a relationship to progress. It just isn't time yet.
