I would like advice on a paper I need to write.?

I am to select a fictional short story, book, or play about the working class, and then analyze the work for concerns, interactions of poor and non-poor characters, whether it was insightful, and whether the author seemed to care about or be condescending toward the working class characters. I'm open to any suggestions, thanks.
