At the end of the day, the choice is youurs and it's a huge choice. Don't spend the rest of your life with someone that makes you unhappy just to make your friend happy. He should understand that getting married isn't a game. If you decide to not go through with it, it will save you a lot of trouble and money in the long run if you feel she isn't the girl for you.
