What kind of tea is this?

So i went to an indian store and found chinese green tea in a metal can, after i bought it i looked inside and im not sure what kind of tea it is. I usually buy bagged tea so i wanted to try something different. It looks kind of like shriveled leaves(?) and kind of like seeds or woodchips. What kind of tea is this and how do i prepare it?
